How Isolated Nanoclusters Could Make Lithium Metal Batteries Safer and Longer Lasting
Researchers developed a sterically regulated electrolyte that uses a non-flammable cyclic fluorinated diluent to form isolated solvation nanoclusters, improving lithium-ion transport and stabilizing interfaces in lithium metal batteries.
